Rebrand M-School
Group: Ignacio Vanzini, Sabrina Budhrani, Marissa Mackel, Jobert Adan
Type: Pitch Project
With Energy…
Unlike many of the projects we’ve done in this program where we had no prior knowledge of the project, this project was about rebranding M-School. With the program growing and our first cohort graduating, it was time to rethink how M-School interacted with the outside world. Our objective was to energetically create content ideas or mock ups that could be shown to prospective M-School students, LMU students and outside companies looking to hire.
The project requirements were to choose 3 of 4 outlets, come up with content and then present it with a golden thread or story. The requirements were a reimagined website, social media content, an app or a manifesto video.
With Creativity…
We thought about what M-School truly meant to us and we came up with three engagement filters, Inquisitive, Pioneers and Iconoclast. From this we creatively built our social media campaigns on Instagram and Twitter, 3 video examples and a reimagined website chalked full of new examples. Our golden thread was the “Believe in Real” campaign. In M-School we believe in an education of real experiences and real projects that matter.
With Versatility…
Personally, I worked on the video and the website. The manifesto video was a 3-hour long effort along with learning Adobe Premier for the first time for 2 hours. The last video, meant to show the ability M-School has to unleash our inner creative, took me 9 hours to edit together. The website took about 2 hours to create on wix. We presented our ideas to Eric Johnson, President of Ignited, Jerry McGee, VP at 4As, Professor Lori Schwartz, Professor Matthew Stefl and Professor Andy Rohm on April 29th, 2015.
