Marketing and Customer Support Head/Lead

Startups are fast paced and unpredictable. Tesloop was no different. I started at Tesloop as an intern in a living room near LMU and quickly handled all marketing needs. I've been part of growing multiple Tesloop products and services such as the Shuttle product (as well as exiting that service), Carmiq Network and One Way Rental. I handled all social media accounts and content creation cycles. I created and updated our website based on the company's messaging needs. We A/B tested landing page copy and CTA pair with Paid Ad Campaigns on Facebook, Google, Youtube, Linkedin and more. I also set up our customer support software, created our funnel/process, and hired/trained/lead a team.

M-School

 August 2014 - May 2016

The M-School is a new and highly selective 2 year program at LMU with the goal of bringing marketing classes into the 21st century. Instead of text books, our classes were held at agencies (72andsunny, Team One, TBWA Chiat Day and more), taught by industry leaders in their fields. Each semester resulted in final presentations of campaigns that hypothetically would be ready to launch. We prototyped products, launched social media campaigns and owned Google Adword campaigns for nonprofit organizations in LA. 

 

Since graduating from M-School 2016, I've devoted my time during their fall semester to mentoring a group of 4 students on their Marketing for Good campaigns.

 June 2015 - December 2015

I was fully integrated into the Interactive Production team which handles the production of digital assets. By the end of the summer internship I was handling the full production cycle for sets of dynamic Ad Banners for the Lexus account that were displayed on publishers like KBB and Autotrader. Interns also had a summer project to come up with a hypothetical campaign to tackle the gender pay gap.

 

I was brought on as an Apprentice after the internship where I continued to work on interactive digital banners for the Lexus account. Worked closely with a mentor and creatives throughout my internship and apprenticeship.

 January 2015 - March 2015

At Ignited I was the teams first Media Planning Intern. I was integrated into a relatively small a team of 15. During my 3 months I was able to observed, develop and implement Media Strategies within the team. I worked on multiple accounts such as Fresh and Easy, DTS, MTV and Trion Games.

 

In terms of true ownership, I created and wrote articles covering changes in the digital media that were then circulated to the team and entire agency. Mentored in Kantar Systems, comScore, Nielsen, Facebook for Business and DoubleClick Media.
